Ionah Maiatsky Festival L Envol Musical Gourdon FondsBorn in 2001, Ionah Maiatsky, a pianist of Franco-Russian origin, has already distinguished himself in international competitions: in 2021, he was selected for the prestigious Clara Haskil Competition and was awarded first prize in the Albert Roussel Competition in Paris.First trained in Lausanne in piano, organ, improvisation and chamber music, in 2014 he entered the CRR in Paris, where he studied for four years with Billy Eidi, who had a decisive influence on his career. In 2018, at the age of 16, Ionah entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, where he studied with Marie-Josèphe Jude and Jonas Vitaud. He has since joined a Bachelor's and Master's course in chamber music, enabling him to work with masters such as Claire Désert, François Salque, Jérôme Pernoo and Itamar Golan.

He has had the opportunity to work in masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Jean-François Heisser, Michel Beroff, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Akiko Ebi, Olivier Cazal and others, as well as with chamber musicians such as members of the Ébène and Modigliani quartets.

With a passion for both solo piano repertoire and chamber music, he performs regularly at festivals such as the Ravel Festival, the Spiriades, Musiques d'un siècle, Nice Classic Live, the 4 Seasons and others. In November 2021, he will take part in the France Musique programme Générations...

Arthur Hinnewinkel

arthur hinnewinkel festival l envol musical gourdon fondsArthur Hinnewinkel was born in 2000 into a family of musicians. His father was a jazz guitarist and Arthur became interested in the piano at a very young age while living in Singapore. Returning to France at the age of 11, he took lessons at the CRR (Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris) and at the age of 15 joined the CNSM in the class of Hortense Cartier-Bresson. Arthur is interested in all periods of music, from the composers of the seventeenth century to the most contemporary of the twenty-first.

He is interested in all forms of music, from jazz to Indian and South-East Asian music. Arthur regularly performs in recital, as well as in chamber music ensembles. This year he was invited to play at the Roque d'Anthéron piano festival....

Arthur Hinnewinkel is one of the 3 finalists in the 2023 Clara Haskil Competition, one of the most demanding international competitions in terms of musicality.

He is artist in residence at the Fondation Singer-Polignac.

Darren Sheng

darren sheng festival l envol musical gourdon fondsDarren Sheng began playing the piano in Taiwan at the age of four, and arrived in France in 2016 on the advice of Jean-Marc Luisada, whose class he joined at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. He obtained the Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste in 2020 and continued his studies with Nicolas Mallarte at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB). At the same time, he studied accompaniment with Julien le Pape, lied and mélodie with Serge Cyferstein, and chamber music with Aline Bartissol. In 2022, he joined Denis Pascal's class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP).

He has participated́ in numerous masterclasses, including those of Pascal Rogé, Emmanuel Strosser, Vincent Coq, Marie-Joseph Jude.

He distinguished himself́ at the 2020 edition of the "Virtuose du Coeur" International Competition, winning Third Prize, and reaching the final of the 14th edition of the "Albert Roussel" International Competition. Darren was a soloist with Xavier Gagnepain in Liszt's Malédiction in 2022. He performs regularly as a soloist at the Salle Cortot, and also at numerous music festivals, such as the Chopin Festival at Bagatelle, Moments Musicaux en Normandie, etc.
